About The Position

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This role involves working on advanced mechanical design and analysis for missile systems, contributing to innovative solutions that support critical defense programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 2+ years of related engineering experience OR Master’s degree in STEM with 1+ year of related experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance (active clearance preferred).

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• Hands-on mechanical integration experience, preferably in aerospace.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical analysis, CAD design, and/or mechanical testing of complex materials, structural components, or functional systems.
• Utilize advanced structural and product design engineering tools and CAD software (preferably Siemens NX).
• Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to designs.
• Adapt or improve upon heritage features from previous successful designs.
• Develop and manage test programs for system elements such as materials and structural components.
• Oversee test activities and test article fabrication, including documentation of results.
• Communicate project status and analysis/test results through reports and presentations.
