About The Position

The Engineer Intern position is a non-exempt temporary position. The individual will support engineering research, design, analysis, and trade studies subsystems and technologies. The individual will also support the development, tracking and management of technical reports and program deliverables.

Requirements

Pursuing a BS degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Science.
Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
Ability to work in a collaborative, dynamic team environment.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance

Nice To Haves

Engineering experience in the Aerospace or Defense industry helpful, but not required.
Matlab and/or C++ experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

Participate in the Agile Scrum Process support to rapidly design, code and integrate capabilities on a continuous basis into a mature solution for our customers
Support the design and analysis of systems and subsystem assemblies.
Learn the responsibilities of an engineer
Incorporate academic knowledge into hands-on work
Document and test new software applications
Assess new application ideas
Develop applications (coding, programming)
Support the development of simulation tools and/or software to support analysis and trade studies.
Produce engineering products in support of program requirements.
Support program meetings, review, etc, as required.
