About The Position

We are seeking an Engineer Intern with an innovative mindset, strong time management skills, organization, good work ethic, and someone ready to make an impact in the communities ETM serves. The role involves performing engineering assignments, working from designs of others, compiling data, performing design computations, and preparing engineering plans. The intern will develop plans, specifications, and inspection reports as needed on assigned tasks to ensure they are complete, accurate, and in accordance with good engineering practice. This position requires applying standard practices and techniques in specific situations, adjusting and correlating data, recognizing discrepancies in results, and following operations through a series of related, detailed steps or processes. The assignments are designed to develop professional working knowledge, requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria necessary to fulfill the experience requirement for licensure as a professional engineer, and will be performed under close supervision with specific and detailed instructions. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (recent graduate.)
  • Certified E.I.T.
  • The ability to work well as part of a team, be self-motivated, and flexible to accomplish given tasks.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business, technology and professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.

Responsibilities
