About The Position

The Department of Planning and Development’s Transportation Unit is in search of a Summer 2026 Intern. The intern will be assisting in updating the Center City Parking report and the Trail Master Plan. The position will involve reviewing data from parking counts and analyzing the data for inclusion in the updated Center City Parking Report, as well as mapping and creating data visualizations of parking facilities in Center City. The Intern will also be assisting work related to the Trail Master Plan. The maximum number of hours allocated for this role is a maximum of 20 hours per week. Requirements

• Undergraduate level studies.
• Majors include Urban Planning, Geography, Urban Studies, or Public Policy.
• Microsoft Excel
• GIS (Geographic Information Systems)
• Data analysis
• Data visualization and Writing
