About The Position

This is a part-time, seasonal position based at Sun Outdoors Myrtle Beach in
Conway, SC. It’s a great opportunity to build hands-on skills, learn from
experienced professionals, and get a foot in the door in maintenance and
engineering.

Requirements

• Some hands-on experience or exposure to electrical, mechanical, construction, or similar work
• Someone who’s eager to learn, ask questions, and try new things
• Reliable, on time, and pays attention to details
• Follows safety rules and takes them seriously
• Works well with others and communicates clearly

Responsibilities

• Jump in on routine maintenance and small repairs across guest cottages and public spaces
• Help troubleshoot basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues (no experience? we’ll teach you)
• Get exposure to vendor-supported systems like HVAC and see how the pros handle it
• Assist with property inspections to keep everything safe, clean, and running smoothly
• Respond to maintenance requests with the team and help solve problems quickly
• Pitch in on preventive maintenance to keep things from breaking in the first place
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Help track maintenance tasks and inspections
• Support the team during urgent or emergency situations
• Take on other projects as assigned by the Engineering Manager (no two days are the same)
