About The Position

The candidate will serve as a software release manager responsible for scheduling development, testing, and release of software or integrated hardware/software products. These product releases will support F-35 maintenance systems hardware. The role involves embedded support in a Government lead Joint Program Office, requiring daily interaction with the customer, other contractors, and foreign nationals. Requirements

  • BS in electrical engineering or computer engineering
  • 2-4 years experience with IT systems or networking
  • U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret level

Nice To Haves

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
  • Familiarity with USN or UASF program management
  • Experience managing software development
  • Familiarity with Joint Strike Fighter Program Management Office, Maintenance Systems

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling development, testing, and release of software or integrated hardware/software products
  • Developing documents and recommending solutions or improvements for technical engineering problems of moderate scope
  • Researching and preparing drafts and/or finished engineering presentations, reports, process studies, or technical information used for such things as program reviews, design reviews, and proposal activities
  • Initiating, developing, and maintaining active interfaces and coordination/exchange of technical information among multi-disciplined engineering groups, subcontractors, and/or the customer
  • Analyzing, developing, and maintaining technical databases and supportive engineering systems
