About The Position

Staff Engineer II - Infrastructure Opportunity : We are hiring a staff engineer II with a desire to assist in the design and delivery of multidisciplinary work on large scale infrastructure programs, to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, you will assist the design team to help deliver the design and improve resource efficiency and cost-effectiveness. You will be responsible for supporting interdisciplinary coordination, design interface resolution, coordinating construction submittal responses, database management, material quantity take-offs, scheduling and estimates. Requirements

  • BS degree in Engineering is required
  • 5 years of related engineering design work experience
  • 5 year of experience in management oversight role with direct reports
  • Proficiency in utilizing Sharepoint, and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering, data analytics and design management is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in contract compliance and project proposal pursuits preferred
  • Engineer in-Training (EIT) Certificate is desirable

Responsibilities

  • Supports interdisciplinary coordination and design interface resolution
  • Support coordination with internal program management, the client, and stakeholders
  • Contributes to contract compliance reviews and supports corrective action plan development and implementation
  • Contributes to pursuit work for new projects
  • Aids in data management tracking, including potential to build dashboards or support the development of new databases to improve efficiency
  • Leads project staff onboarding and program overviews for new staff
  • Supports program safety, quality and management tasks as needed
