Job Summary: As an Engineer I - Architectural Service Team (AST), you will be the go-to expert providing consulting services for product solutions to potential customers. You'll guide them through the maze of specs, systems, and solutions to support the design professional's performance and aesthetic requirements - ensuring Kawneer products are seamlessly integrated into world-class projects.

Responsibilities

Review and understand architectural design drawings to provide appropriate technical solutions for project specific requirements.
Provide timely response to architects, designers and specifies as follow up to direct e-mail, phone and web inquires.
Provide standard, modified and custom detail information to design professionals for project specific requirements.
Utilize the company website to assist design professionals.
Work closely with the commercial sales organization to maximize promotional opportunities to close bid projects.
Identify and communicate emerging market and/or product needs to the product management group.
Promote new products whenever possible.
Counsel customers on matters of product selection, product application and installation processes.
