About The Position

The Fuel Cycle Analysis Engineer will contribute in performance of nuclear fuel bundle and core design, along with associated technical support for Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) plants operating with GNF fuel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, physics, or closely related science discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Eligibility Requirements This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.

Responsibilities

  • Perform design and technical evaluations of nuclear fuel bundle and core design in support of reload licensing and cycle management.
  • Effectively communicate and coordinate activities with internal and external project managers, technical personnel, and customers on engineering/technical issues
  • Maintain and/or exceed baseline project schedule and cost in delivery of nuclear fuel reload engineering deliverables
  • Prepare, document and present technical data to internal and external customers
  • Contribute to team process improvements to drive speed and simplification
  • Ensure work is performed with high quality in accordance with NRC rules and regulations, customer requirements, and business quality assurance standards
