About The Position

To ensure all engineering tasks, preventative maintenance, and basic repairs are completed in a timely and efficient manner while supporting a safe and well-maintained hotel environment.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of chiller operations required.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolding, or use a man lift to work at heights up to 30 feet.
• Ability to reach overhead for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred experience with general plumbing, electrical work, painting, drywall, and wall vinyl repairs.
• Preferred mechanical plant experience with heating and cooling systems such as boilers, pumps, chillers, cooling towers, and domestic water systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain hotel mechanical systems including domestic water systems, hot water systems, chilled water systems, and pool systems.
• Operate and understand basic television, plumbing, and electrical systems throughout the hotel.
• Assist other engineers and technicians with general repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Support central plant operations, including basic understanding of chiller operations.
• Clean and maintain all work areas after completing assigned tasks.
• Complete and submit daily paperwork and maintenance logs.
• Have a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
• Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations.
