About The Position

This role is for an Engineer specializing in Citrix, requiring strong, demonstrable experience in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale Citrix environments. Key components include Citrix Cloud, Delivery Controllers, Virtual Delivery Agents (VDA / CVAD), Provisioning Services (PVS), Citrix Director, and Citrix ADC (NetScaler). The position demands hands-on experience operating the Citrix Cloud control plane with both on-premises and public cloud resource locations, along with advanced troubleshooting and performance optimization skills across Citrix and Microsoft Windows Server platforms. Proficiency in using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management, practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code concepts (version control, modular design, state management, CI/CD integration), and strong PowerShell scripting are essential. A good working knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), load balancing, firewalls, and secure network design is also required. The engineer will integrate Citrix platforms with enterprise identity and security services (e.g., Active Directory, Entra ID, MFA) and have experience with application packaging and delivery technologies (MSI, App V). The role involves delivering projects within highly regulated environments, such as financial services, and operating comfortably within mature change control, audit, and risk management frameworks. A deep understanding of distributed, highly available, and virtualized end-user computing platforms, modern Citrix architecture (cloud-managed and hybrid deployments), cloud infrastructure concepts, and broad infrastructure knowledge spanning compute, storage, networking, identity, and security is expected.

Requirements

• Strong, demonstrable experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise scale Citrix environments, including: Citrix Cloud, Delivery Controllers, Virtual Delivery Agents (VDA / CVAD), Provisioning Services (PVS), Citrix Director, Citrix ADC (NetScaler)
• Hands on experience operating Citrix Cloud control plane with on premises and/or public cloud resource locations
• Advanced troubleshooting and performance optimisation skills across Citrix and Microsoft Windows Server platforms
• Proven experience using Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure in a controlled, repeatable manner
• Practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code concepts including version control, modular design, state management, and CI/CD integration
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation experience
• Good working knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), load balancing, firewalls, and secure network design
• Experience integrating Citrix platforms with enterprise identity and security services (e.g. Active Directory, Entra ID, MFA)
