About The Position

Presbyterian Homes & Services - Founders Ridge in the City of Bloomington, is seeking a Engineer / Maintenance Technician for its team. This is a full time benefit eiligible hourly position working 40 hours a week. SCHEDULE/HOURS: Mon -Fri 8am to 4:30p with an every 3rd weekend on call rotation. REPORTING STRUCTURE : The Engineer Tech 3 position reports to the Enviromental Services Director ABOUT THIS COMMUNITY Founders Ridge is a small close knit community of residents and employees, surrounded by the quiet West Bloomington neighborhood, close to highways 169, 494 and 35W. This community offers the following care options: Assisted Living, Assisted Living with Memory Care, Enhanced Assisted Living Address: 6600 Auto Club Road, Bloomington, MN 55438 As an employee you can take advantage of a variety of amenities such as: - Bus route access -Off-street parking -Free Fitness Center access This site is in proximity to: Savage, Burnsville, Eden Prairie, and Edina Responsibilities The Engineer is responsible for working independently as well as participating in team initiatives to execute assignments by site leadership. Create a safe and secure environment by maintaining the buildings, grounds, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner, consistent with regulations and established policies, procedures and best practices.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience in commercial or residential building maintenance.
  • Able to work independently, multitask, follow directions and work under supervision.
  • Relate well and provide a professional image and services to all customers.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
  • Must be able to participate in an after-hours emergency on-call rotation consisting of one week on-call at a frequency depending on the size of the on-call group.
