We seek a professional who will develop and apply engineering standards and procedures, providing advice on issues within the engineering field. We seek a professional who will collaborate with senior professionals to contribute to planning, designing and estimating time and cost, overseeing construction and maintenance of our structures, facilities, systems and components.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or Master’s degree in agricultural, biological systems, chemical, electrical, mechanical, industrial, Mining or other engineering discipline
  • Ability to work optimally with individuals from a diverse set of backgrounds and cultures
  • Willing and able to relocate
  • Ability to contribute, both as part of a team and individually
  • Strong communication skills – written and oral

Nice To Haves

  • Previous mining or industrial co-op or intern experience
  • Overall 2.7 GPA or higher
  • Ability to relate technical knowledge to job-related duties
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems and make decisions independently
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience

Responsibilities

  • Follow prescribed guidelines or policies to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Continue to build knowledge of the organization, processes and customers.
  • Contribute to designing and improving manufacturing processes, instruments and equipment, testing manufactured products to maintain quality.
  • Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned
