Requirements

  • Ideal candidate will have :
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in similar kitchen or hotel operation.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities. This may include some evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Candidates must have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
  • Skills/Qualifications:
  • Ideal candidate will have :
  • Minimum one year experience or related work .
  • Good communication and written skills.

Responsibilities

  • Job du ties in clude but are not limited to:
  • Handle preventative maintenance of all equipment and update appropriate logs .
  • Handle all repairs of equipment including motors, starters, breakers, chillers and associated equipment throughout the entire building.
  • Respond to guest calls regarding maintenance of rooms and equipment in rooms or public area in a timely manner .
  • Respond to all emergency conditions such as fires, power failures, etc.
  • Clean all stations in Engineering, grease traps, plumbing stoppages and maintain an organized department and hotel.
  • The ability to follow proper payroll and uniform procedures
  • The ability to maintain the physical property and furnishings in a manner consistent with that of a luxury hotel.
  • The ability to clean and touch up painted surfaces throughout the hotel.
  • The ability to maintain brushes and rollers in good condition
  • The ability to complete all assigned work in a safe and timely manner.
  • The ability to use all safety precautions at all times when using tools, chemicals, ladders or other potentially dangerous equipment or supplies.
  • The ability to complete all assigned project in a timely fashion.
  • The ability to ensure a clean, neat and organized work area .
  • The ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times to reflect the high standards of Four Seasons Hotels T
  • he ability to handle and report any accident immediately , no matter how minor.
  • The ability to maintain a good working relationship with other employees .
  • The ability to respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation .
  • The ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
  • The ability to maintain and re-lamp all lamps in the hotel, including socket repair and replacement.
  • The ability to install electrical wiring for renovations, electrical outlet additions, motors and associate equipment.
  • The ability to clean all stations in Engineering and maintain a neat and organized department.
  • The ability to adjust, and clean televisions.
  • The ability to respond to all guest complaints regarding the maintenance of their room or public area in a timely manner .
  • The ability to assist on all plumbing stoppages in the building.
  • The ability to assemble desks, shelving, cabinets, etc. as assigned.
  • The ability to assist engineers on major shut downs for repairs.
  • The ability to assist guests with special requests such as opening luggage when keys are lost.
  • The ability to maintain logs for all work performed while on duty.
  • The ability to treat urinals with de -liming solution.
  • The ability to clean light fixtures and shades.
  • The ability to unplug toilets and change out valves and valve seats.
  • The ability to respond to work orders or room inspection reports submitted by Department Heads.
  • The ability to respond to all emergency conditions such as fires, power failures, etc.
  • The ability to maintain a good working relationship with other employees, providing instruction and encouragement as needed.
  • The ability to ensure a clean, neat and organized work area .
  • The ability to respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation .
  • The ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
