About The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Database Reliability Engineer (DBRE) with a minimum of 8+ years of proven experience in complex PostgreSQL and MongoDB administration and multi-cloud architecture. While expertise in MongoDB is critical for this role, the focus will be architecting and managing our large-scale PostgreSQL environments. This pivotal position requires exceptional adaptability to quickly learn and master any new database technology or cloud platform. The role drives core technology strategy, leading all major migration and upgrade projects, and ensures the operational excellence, resilience, security, performance and cost efficiency of our multi-terabyte scale database environments on AWS and GCP. This position requires proven expertise in managing highly available systems, leveraging cloud databases AWS, GCP, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and advanced DB Administration skills, including implementing compliance controls.
Requirements
- Min 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Min Bachelors
- DBRE (PostgreSQL & MongoDB)
- Proven expertise in managing highly available systems
- Leveraging cloud databases AWS, GCP, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform
- Advanced DB Administration skills, including implementing compliance controls
