About The Position

The Engineer III will diagnose and provide service and repairs to hotel equipment including electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC refrigeration, interior, paint and decorating, and respond to inquiries and problems.

Requirements

At least 6 months' to 1 year of professional repair and maintenance experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions. Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job; knowledge of HotSOS preferred/is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests.
Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 40 lbs.
US work authorization is required.

Responsibilities

Handle preventative maintenance of all equipment and update appropriate logs.
Handle all repairs of equipment including motors, starters, breakers, chillers and associated equipment throughout the entire building.
Respond to guest calls regarding maintenance of rooms and equipment in rooms or public area in a timely manner.
Respond to all emergency conditions such as fires, power failures, etc.
Clean all stations in Engineering, grease traps, plumbing stoppages and maintain an organized department and hotel. Ensure that meter readings are taken daily on heat, light and review information to evaluate consumption.
