Engagement Specialist II-PT
About The Position
Under direct supervision, the Engagement Specialist II works with staff to support the Library's strategic goals and initiatives by assisting customers and providing relevant and timely programs and services, both inside and outside the library. This position will be assigned to the Community Libraries, which consist of locations in Choctaw, Nicoma Park, Harrah, Jones and Luther. Candidates should be available to work at any of these locations. The hiring salary for this position is $21.57 hourly. This is a half-time position working 20 hours per week. This position is not exempt from the federal Fair Labor Standards Act. The current need for this position requires that the candidate be available to work the following days: Wednesday from 12:00 to 6:00 pm, Thursday from 12:00 to 9:00 pm and Saturday from 11:00 to 5:00 pm. Hours are subject to change according to the needs of the library. Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science from an accredited college or university
- One year of customer service experience
