The JCC Denver is seeking a passionate and dynamic Family Engagement Program Manager to play a pivotal role in supporting young families within our community and support the JCC Denver Engagement team. This individual will be responsible for managing core young family programs, leading the classroom experience for Practice Preschool, and contributing to the success of preschool enrichment programs and Jewish Baby University. Responsibilities Practice Preschool Leadership and Class Instruction (30-40% in Classroom): Lead the classroom experience for Practice Preschool, our innovative part-time transitional early childhood education program catering to 18 months to 3-year-olds. Foster a nurturing and educational environment that aligns with the JCC Denver's values and educational philosophy. Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum, activities, and assessments. Teach one to two family engagement classes a session. Using provided curriculum teach art and movement classes for ages 6 months old to 5 years old. Program Management: Support the planning, development, and execution of young family programs to enhance community engagement. Organize and oversee preschool enrichment programs, ensuring alignment with educational goals and community needs. Manage Jewish Baby University, providing resources and support for families with infants. Work with the Early Learning School and Efshar to create and offer preschool age schools out camp. Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with young families to enhance their JCC experience. Collaborate with other departments to integrate family engagement initiatives into broader JCC programming. Help plan and support Jewish life programming including holiday celebrations. Expectation of quarterly family friendly Jewish holiday offerings. Administration: Organize and coordinate program logistics, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Assist in the hiring and management of contractor teachers, ensuring a high standard of educational excellence. Innovation and Growth: Contribute to the development of new and engaging program offerings that align with emerging trends and community needs. Stay current on best practices in early childhood education and family engagement.
