The Role As an Engagement Director, you own the success of a client engagement or major workstream from start to finish. You serve as the primary day-to-day leader for the engagement, accountable for outcomes, client satisfaction, and delivery against aggressive financial and operational targets. You will work closely with client executives and Maine Pointe Partners to shape strategy, lead teams, deliver measurable value, and identify opportunities to expand client relationships. This role is designed for senior consulting leaders who combine strong commercial acumen with hands-on delivery excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, logistics, operations, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • 5–10+ years of experience leading consulting or business transformation engagements
  • Proven success delivering measurable financial results within tightly managed timelines and budgets
  • Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to adapt across industries and cultures
  • Experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or operations transformation
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required (no sponsorship available)

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in an implementation-focused consulting firm
  • PMP or similar certification
  • Demonstrated success expanding client relationships and selling follow-on work

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to client executives and C-suite leaders
  • Own engagement outcomes, delivering EBITDA, cash, and revenue improvements on time and on budget
  • Lead engagements or major workstreams through the Analysis and delivery phases
  • Align client success criteria with engagement goals and track progress through completion
  • Lead, coach, and develop engagement teams to drive high performance and accountability
  • Ensure disciplined execution of Maine Pointe methodologies, tailored to client and industry needs
  • Identify and shape follow-on opportunities in partnership with Engagement and Industry Partners
  • Build long-term client relationships that drive repeat work, references, and TVO journeys
