BAE Systems is looking for a Process Engineer II to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment at their Merrimack, New Hampshire facility. Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams and being able to adapt to a changing production factory environment brings with it an exciting opportunity to influence the successful execution of production goals and achieving operational excellence. In this role, the Process Engineer II will be responsible for providing manufacturing support, process development, and continuous improvement for the Advanced Composites Manufacturing factory. The Process Engineer II will utilize hands-on problem solving, data analyses and application of engineering, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing principles to improve assembly processes, product flow, product yields and reducing cost.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline with 2+ years of manufacturing experience, or in lieu of degree, 6+ years of manufacturing engineer experience
  • Work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Collect/analyze data utilizing Minitab statistical software to promte data driven decision making
  • Perform process reviews, document findings, and implement actions
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

Nice To Haves

  • Lean and Six Sigma Principle knowledge
  • PPV, FAI, PFMEA proficiency
  • Prior work experience with composites
  • Prior experience in DoD manufacturing environment
  • Secret Clearance
