At AXA XL, we are focused on profitably growing our energy and energy transition portfolio, including oil & gas, power generation, renewable and low-carbon energy, and energy-related industries. We offer our clients global underwriting capability with local energy representation in 11 countries. Our underwriters are supported by expert risk consultants, giving a deep understanding of the risks we mitigate. Our teams take part in regular energy best-practice groups, ensuring they have access to the latest thinking on optimizing assets. The challenges created by the global energy transition call for new thinking. Whether our clients are an energy provider, in an industry involved in supporting the transition, or transitioning their business towards net zero, our innovative insurance products and solutions go beyond protection, embracing prevention. Our global insights from the energy sector and beyond give our clients better clarity about risk, at every stage of their assets’ lifecycles, wherever they are in the world. As an Energy Transition Underwriting Intern, you will gain valuable experience in analyzing large risk through modeling and data outputs to support underwriting decisions. Our team works with a wide range of Fortune 500 companies to support business continuity, mitigate financial risk, and enhance risk quality. We seek candidates with strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a genuine desire to learn. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is curious, motivated, and willing to ask questions to contribute effectively to our team.

Responsibilities
