About The Position

2020 Companies is seeking a bilingual Energy Sales Specialist to represent and promote Reliant Energy services. This role involves engaging with customers at retail locations, specifically mentioned as Sam's Club, to drive new enrollments for Reliant electricity plans. The specialist will help customers understand and choose energy solutions that can lower their costs. The position requires an enthusiastic, persuasive, and passionate individual who can thrive in fast-paced retail environments. It offers a competitive compensation structure with base pay and uncapped commissions, averaging $1,000-$1,350/week, with top earners reaching up to $2,500/week. 2020 Companies provides paid training and clear paths for career advancement. The role is focused on direct customer interaction, building relationships, identifying needs, handling objections, and achieving sales goals, without involving door-to-door sales, cold calling, or telemarketing.

Requirements

Fluent in both English and Spanish (able to read, write, and speak Spanish)
Strong experience in retail/event sales or event marketing
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work as part of a team and independently
Comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting, setup and teardown of events
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to event locations
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
High school diploma or equivalent
Six (6) months prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience
Demonstrated knowledge of products and services
Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment
Ability to maintain customer confidentiality

Courteously welcome customers and offer assistance
Direct customers by escorting them to displays; assess needs and suggests products to fit those needs
Advise customers by providing information on products and services
Help customers make selections by building customer confidence
Accurately document and report sales
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Responsible for accurately tracking and communicating all activity to Retail Operations
Ensure work station/kiosk is clean, well-organized, functional and presentable at all times
Responsible for submitting all paperwork completely and accurately
