About The Position

The Energy Rebate Coordinator supports the execution of commercial energy efficiency programs across major utility territories. This role is responsible for processing and coordinating rebate applications for small and large commercial projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance with utility program requirements, and timely submission. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented and brings a structured, methodical approach to managing rebate documentation and application workflows. This position requires strong coordination and follow-up skills to track application progress, work with multiple stakeholders, and ensure rebate submissions move smoothly from intake through payment. Serving as a liaison between internal teams and external partners—including contractors, customers, trade allies, and utility representatives—the Energy Rebate Coordinator helps resolve issues, provide updates, and ensure alignment with program requirements.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in utility rebates, project coordination, or administrative support for energy programs
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented, with the ability to manage complex documentation and data requirements
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills across internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard business software

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with commercial utility rebate or incentive programs (PECO, PPL, PSE&G, ACE, & JCP&L)
  • Familiarity with energy-efficient products such as lighting, controls, HVAC, or EV infrastructure
  • Experience coordinating with sales, operations, or purchasing teams

Responsibilities

  • Review, process, and submit commercial rebate applications with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Coordinate with customers, contractors, and utility partners to collect required documentation and resolve application issues
  • Manage rebate approvals, signatures, and submission timelines to ensure on-time processing
  • Track project milestones and rebate status to support timely execution and payment
  • Maintain well-organized project and rebate documentation; provide clear status updates and reporting
  • Collaborate with internal teams, auditors, program managers, and utility representatives to resolve discrepancies
  • Identify process gaps and assist with implementing improvements to streamline rebate workflows
  • Adapt to changing program requirements while managing multiple rebate applications concurrently
