About The Position

We help income‑qualified households across Northwest Colorado save money, improve comfort, and reduce environmental impact—and we’re looking for a friendly and organized Outreach Coordinator who is good with people and strong with digital tools. What You’ll Do As our Outreach Coordinator, you’ll be the welcoming voice and administrative powerhouse behind our energy efficiency and weatherization programs. You will: Guide clients through applications and eligibility steps Coordinate scheduling and communicate with field staff and partners Manage files, track program data, and keep systems up to date Attend community events, resource fairs, and outreach activities Support special projects, communications, and day‑to‑day office operations Every day brings something new—and your work will directly improve people’s homes, budgets, and lives.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years’ experience in customer service, admin support, scheduling, or similar
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working with diverse clients
  • Ability to juggle tasks in a busy environment
  • Tech‑savvy mindset and willingness to learn new systems
  • Valid driver’s license
  • 1-2 years’ experience, equivalent training, or related military service in customer service, office administrative support, scheduling, government eligibility program coordination, or similar.
  • Valid driver’s license and good motor vehicle driving record (acceptable to insurance company).
  • Successful background check.
  • Ability to understand quality standards, program guidance and directives, USDOE, CEO, EOC, or other local, state, regional and national partner requirements.
  • High School Degree, GED or equivalent.
  • Proficient with computer, smartphones, office equipment and ability to learn and adapt process to use emerging technology.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus (bilingual pay available!)
  • Additional training, education, credentials, experience or military service in a related field.
  • Experience working in a nonprofit or government program or weatherization office.
  • Understanding of field operations, logistics, or scheduling in weatherization, HVAC, construction, or similar.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred and may be eligible for bilingual pay increase if fluent and utilized at work.
