This summer internship supports the implementation of the Extended Day Ahead Market (EDAM) onboarding at PGE, a collaborative initiative with the California ISO aimed at optimizing regional grid operations, enhancing energy reliability, and advancing clean energy goals across the West. As a Policy Intern, you will play a key role in aligning legal, regulatory, and contractual frameworks to ensure the seamless integration of this innovative market structure. The role offers hands-on experience working alongside policy experts on critical tasks such as reviewing market participation agreements, analyzing regulatory filings, and addressing the intersection of state and federal policies. You will help develop and refine strategies to meet compliance requirements, support stakeholder engagement, and align organizational policies with EDAM’s objectives.
