About The Position

We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Store Clerk to support daily operations at our Energy Market. The Clerk plays a key role in delivering excellent customer service, maintaining store cleanliness, and assisting with merchandising tasks. This role requires a strong work ethic, reliability, and a passion for customer service.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
1+ year of experience in a retail, convenience store, or pro shop environment preferred.
Friendly and positive attitude with strong customer service skills.
Ability to learn and operate point-of-sale systems and follow procedures accurately.
Basic math skills and attention to detail.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise up to 40 lbs.
Comfortable with physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and occasional ladder use.
Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Operate POS systems for sales, returns, and exchanges accurately.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store environment.
Restock shelves, coolers, and displays as needed.
Follow all store policies and procedures, including loss prevention.
Report low stock levels or product issues to the Assistant Manager or Store Manager.
Support promotional and upselling efforts as directed.
Participate in daily opening and closing duties.
Maintain cleanliness in customer and employee areas.
Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Manager or Store Manager.
