A Steam Engineer is responsible for the operation of high-pressure boilers, large steam engines and boilers, air compressors, turbines (except generating turbines), ventilating and refrigerating equipment, generators and other related equipment commonly found in an industrial plant power house. Work requires practical skill and knowledge and journey-level skill as a Steam Engineer. Work may require interpreting specifications, blueprints, manufacturers' manuals, sketches or similar documents.
