About The Position

Energy Analyst The Opportunity: With all the information available today, it takes a skilled all-source analyst to know how to find and interpret the best data to give their clients the right answers. With the critical decisions made in our government and military every day, we need an intelligence analyst like you to do just that. As an energy all-source analyst, you use your specialized functional experience and your attention to detail to conduct all-source analytic production on foreign energy infrastructures, systems, resources, facilities and installations, networks, and equipment. As an Energy Analyst on our team, you’ll help your client by providing intelligence production and briefing support to address dynamic intelligence requirements. Using your comprehensive understanding of all-source analytic tradecraft, production cycles, publication standards, community writing styles, and formats, you’ll produce strategic-level assessments and products that address foreign electric power generation, transmission, and distribution systems as well as their related infrastructures and networks. As an authority on your topic, your client will look to you for comprehensive production, often under pressure. You’ll share your expertise with other analysts through leadership and mentoring. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience producing all-source intelligence analysis reports and briefings and input to IC databases
  • Knowledge of IC and Combatant Command environments
  • Ability to develop high-quality deliverables tailored to senior policymakers or defense stakeholders, including complex written products and formal or informal briefings
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in all-source analysis, or 7+ years of experience in all-source analysis in lieu of a degree

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience with energy infrastructures, systems, resources, facilities and installations, networks, and equipment, including electric power, oil, and gas production or generation, transmission, and distribution systems, along with oil and gas reserves
  • Experience with network development tools and methods
  • Knowledge of electric power plants or oil pipelines or refineries and associated equipment
  • Knowledge of ICD 203/206 analytic tradecraft standards
  • Knowledge of the EUCOMAOR
