About The Position

Crete United is helping companies build for a more sustainable future by implementing energy services that mitigate financial risk and protect businesses from volatile energy markets. Energy procurement is a core necessity across deregulated markets, and we are seeking an individual with strong analytical rigor and strategic thinking to support clients through business optimization, financial analysis, and reporting. Our Energy Procurement team is expanding, and we are looking for a Energy Analyst to join us in Frisco, TX. The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of energy structuring/pricing experience and demonstrates dynamic leadership capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, business, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in deregulated energy markets .
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Salesforce.
  • Proven ability to achieve goals both individually and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Highly motivated self-starter.

Responsibilities

  • Support energy procurement deliverables including sourcing supplier pricing and structuring proposals.
  • Engage directly with clients to determine needs, recommend risk-management strategies, and provide routine reporting.
  • Understand financial markets (debt, credit, private equity, etc.) and how Crete United can utilize these insights to drive business results.
  • Develop and present industry-related internal communications, training materials, and procurement guidance.
  • Determine client blended rates for efficiency-solution proposals and perform ROI analysis.
  • Conduct client analytics and transform data into actionable insights using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Maintain and support internal databases related to energy procurement.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with energy suppliers and client stakeholders to keep procurement databases consistently updated.
  • Provide efficiency finance support where needed.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor Procurement team members, including overseeing responsibilities, workflows, and growth initiatives.
