Requirements
- Competence in quantitative methods and applied mathematics
- Understanding of the fundamental concepts and techniques of operations research to energy challenges.
- Experience developing models and simulations and synthesizing information into quantitative and qualitative assessments to support senior leader decision- making.
- Bachelor's Degree in: Operations Research, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics or Management Science.
- Knowledge and understanding of, and practical experience in, the application of quality management and assurance techniques.
- Clearance: Background Investigation Eligible
Responsibilities
- Support the client with analysis of energy use, distribution, generation, storage, and management.
- Support statistical modeling of energy needs.
- Support operations research and other data analytical methods to facilitate decision making and justify resource allocation.
- Provide support for the transition of the client to become a data-driven organization.
- Support in-depth analysis to facilitate informed decision making and policy development.
- Provide support and direct development for data collection, data quality assurance, and in-depth analysis related to operational energy.
