Designs, develops, and tests a variety of power plants, aircraft, missiles, and parts, taking into consideration the most efficient use of the natural laws affecting flight. Requirements

Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree with 0-2 years of post-grad relevant work experience or pursuing a master's degree. Degree shoud be in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or a similar major.
Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of explosives. May include experience with material characterization and high strain rate material impact.
Familiarity with analytical approaches, numerical methods for mechanical analysis of material impacts, etc.
Ability to obtain DoD Clearance.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of energetic analysis tools
Working knowledge of production operations procedures and processes. Familiarity with subcontract management/technical support.
Experience with COMSOL, MATLAB, Solidworks, Abaqus, etc.
Familiarity with root cause and corrective action methods.
Ability to view and edit drawings and interrogate CREO models.
Effective task organization and communication skills with integrated product teams.
Proficiency in Windows/Microsoft Office Suite: Windows, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Has an active DoD secret clearance.
