Designs, develops, and tests a variety of power plants, aircraft, missiles, and parts, taking into consideration the most efficient use of the natural laws affecting flight. Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree with 0-2 years of post-grad relevant work experience or pursuing a master's degree. Degree shoud be in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or a similar major.
  • Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of explosives. May include experience with material characterization and high strain rate material impact.
  • Familiarity with analytical approaches, numerical methods for mechanical analysis of material impacts, etc.
  • Ability to obtain DoD Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of energetic analysis tools
  • Working knowledge of production operations procedures and processes. Familiarity with subcontract management/technical support.
  • Experience with COMSOL, MATLAB, Solidworks, Abaqus, etc.
  • Familiarity with root cause and corrective action methods.
  • Ability to view and edit drawings and interrogate CREO models.
  • Effective task organization and communication skills with integrated product teams.
  • Proficiency in Windows/Microsoft Office Suite: Windows, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Has an active DoD secret clearance.
