About The Position

Mountain View Hospital is looking for an Endoscopy Technician (CNA, CMA, CST) to join our team! JOB SUMMARY: Assists the physician with endoscopic procedures and related testing according to the doctor’s preferred routine. Performs endoscope reprocessing and troubleshooting; cleans, maintains and orders supplies and equipment. Admit/Recovery tasks as delegated. Requirements

  • Current nursing assistant certification or a degree/certification in medical assisting or scrub technician.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Can frequently and consistently make sound judgments under time constraints.
  • Can work well under pressure.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in endoscopy procedures including procedural assisting and disinfection/sterilization preferred.
  • Operation of endoscopy scopes, equipment & endoscope reprocessing units (scope washers).
