About The Position
Mountain View Hospital is looking for an Endoscopy Tech/Certified Nurse Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant/Certified Scrub Tech to join our team! JOB SUMMARY: Assists the physician with endoscopic procedures and related testing according to the doctor’s preferred routine. Performs endoscope reprocessing and troubleshooting; cleans, maintains and orders supplies and equipment. Admit/Recovery tasks as delegated. Facilitates and demonstrates cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors at all times. Requirements
- Current nursing assistant certification or a degree/certification in medical assisting or scrub technician.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Basic Mathematical Skills
- Can frequently and consistently make sound judgments under time constraints.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Can work well under pressure.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in endoscopy procedures including procedural assisting and disinfection/sterilization preferred.
- Operation of endoscopy scopes, equipment & endoscope reprocessing units (scope washers).
