About The Position
We are currently seeking an Endoscopy Technologist to join our team at our busy outpatient Endoscopy Center located in Marrero, LA. The role involves assisting our physicians during endoscopic procedures and ensuring patient care and safety throughout the process.
Requirements
- BLS certification
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in GI/endoscopy or outpatient surgical setting is a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures
- Prepare and maintain procedure rooms and equipment
- Document patient information accurately
- Collaborate with RNs and other team members to ensure high-quality patient care
- Monitor and support patients before, during, and after procedures
- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
