As an Endoscopy Technician, you will be working collaboratively with the Nurses within the Endoscopy unit. Your care and treatment of these patients is an integral part of the Patient Experience. As a Patient Care Technician, you would be caring for the Endoscopy patient population by assisting during endoscopy procedures, scrubbing into procedures, handling equipment, transporting specimens and equipment, room turnover between procedures, transporting pts from pre/post op areas, and assisting the nursing team with additional tasks. This position is eligible for up to $6,000 per year based upon your Full or Part Time status. Join the Team! Position: Endoscopy Technician Shift: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, Day Shift. Options to work Five/8 hr shifts, Four/10 hr shifts, OR Two/8 & Two/12 hr shifts (up to the candidate). On-Call Requirements: Candidates MUST be within 30 minutes of Lankenau Medical Center. On-Call may vary but averaging 3-4 weekends per year.

Requirements

  • One year of Endoscopy or Procedural Tech experience is required.
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Candidates MUST be within 30 minutes of Lankenau Medical Center.
  • BLS Certification by American Heart Association preferred upon hire, required in timeframe specified in CPR (BLS)/ALS/PALS Policy
