Make a Difference The Endoscopy Technician provides service and support before, during and after endoscopic procedures. Ensures the presence and proper arrangement of equipment and supplies in the endoscopy room prior to each procedure, assists the physician during the endoscopic procedure as allowed by professional and legal standards, cleans the endoscope after the procedure and expedites room turnover. Provides basic care and some diagnostic tests. Responsible for maintaining the endoscopic equipment and maintaining supply inventory. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2 Plus years of healthcare experience in a clinical setting required
  • Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have a positive attitude toward problem-solving

Nice To Haves

  • 1 Plus years of Endoscopy experience preferred
  • HSPA offers a CES (Certified Endoscope Reprocessor) certification as well as the CRCST, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provides service and support before, during and after endoscopic procedures.
