Endoscopy Tech - per diem
About The Position
Winchester Hospital, a 5x Magnet designated and Top 10 Massachusetts recognized 223-bed regional hospital, is seeking an Endoscopy Tech for its Endoscopy Team. This role is crucial in providing comprehensive health care services in the northwest suburban Boston area. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Certified Nurse’s Assistant course Or Nursing Student with two completed clinical rotations
- Phlebotomy, EKG or Nursing Assistant experience
- BLS is required

- ACU or Medical/Surgical experience
Responsibilities
- Preparing rooms and equipment
- Assists with patient care to facilitate an orderly, efficient and safe clinical environment
- Ensuring the equipment and scopes are properly cleaned and disinfected
- Provides quality and safe patient care
- Facilitates patients in and out of procedure room
- Independently performs turn over of procedure rooms (remove used scopes; changing over suction & O2 tubing; performs terminal cleaning of equipment, setting up room, inspects equipment and Endosoft to insure proper functioning)
- Ensures expedient turnaround time in a neat environment
- Obtain vital signs and record findings
