About The Position

Colorado Endodontic Group is a dynamic specialty practice located in Colorado Springs . We are seeking an experienced Endodontic Dental Assistant to join our team full-time, Mondays-Thursdays. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with a highly skilled endodontist that is outgoing and personable. We are a fast paced office with a great team that genuinely enjoys working together. Our ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant and be familiar with Endodontic treatment and therapies. Requirements

  • 1-2 years of previous dental assisting experience required; endodontic experience preferred
  • Knowledge of endodontic procedures and instruments is a strong plus
  • X-ray certification (as required by state)
  • Active CPR Certification
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced specialty environment

Responsibilities

  • Genuinely welcome patients into the practice
  • Assist the endodontist during procedures including root canal therapy, retreatments, and apicoectomies
  • Set up and break down treatment rooms efficiently between patients
  • Take and process digital radiographs, including PA and CBCT scans as needed
  • Maintain strict infection control and sterilization protocols
  • Provide chairside support using four-handed dentistry techniques
  • Monitor patient comfort and provide reassurance throughout procedures
  • Accurately chart treatments and document clinical notes
  • Assist with patient scheduling, post-op instructions, and follow-up care
