ASRC Federal IT End User Services has a great opportunity for an End User Support Technician (Junior) to join our team in Reston, VA where we support end users across the ASRC Federal Enterprise. The responsibilities include performing on-site end user support, end user hardware maintenance and end user asset management support.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years of technical support experience
  • Experience using a ticketing system (prefer ServiceNow) is a plus
  • Strong proven record learning new technologies and support
  • Multi-task and change direction as needed to meet customer needs and priorities
  • Strong written and oral communications required
  • Support Senior Executives
  • Interface with users in a pleasant and tactful manner
  • Be self-motivated
  • Quickly learn new IT technologies
  • Ability to work on-site daily in Reston, VA
  • US Citizenship required to support this position

Responsibilities

  • Respond to trouble tickets for troubleshooting application and hardware issues
  • On-site support of users in Reston, VA office
  • Support call center for troubleshooting as scheduled
  • Perform hands on technical duties with Windows devices
  • Support end user system maintenance and software installations in a mixed environment
  • Configure IT hardware, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with ASRC Federal standards and project requirements
  • Develop, maintain, and share thorough documentation of installation, configuration, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Image, deploy, and keep inventory of end user
