About The Position

Essential Responsibilities

Roll reel into jack, remove reels from payoff, reload reel or basket.
Weld wire ends together to feed machine. Apply insulation.
Monitor machine process, stop reel when full and change out. Monitor
processes & controls to assure quality.
Maintain accurate inspection logs and reel labels.
Set up ovens, run wire through machines. Read and understand manufacturing
instructions.
Use & read micrometers to measure wire. Complete paperwork, record and enter
data.
Place completed reel in designated location.
Communicate with supervisors & associates.
Read and understand manufacturing instructions
Follow plant work rules, work instructions, safety rules and established
processes, procedures & practices. Maintain cleanliness of work area. Use of
tools including (but not limited to) wire cutters, pliers, wrenches, hammer,
micrometers, and computer.
Other duties as assigned
