About The Position
The EMU Reliability Intern will support maintenance and reliability initiatives by re-assessing equipment criticality, establishing performance KPIs and data collection tools, updating preventive maintenance (PM) programs, and assisting with minor improvement projects. This hands-on role emphasizes process optimization, data-driven decision making, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Progress toward a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related), Operations Management, or a relevant field.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with maintenance principles, data analysis, and Excel or similar tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct updated equipment critical assessments using the latest criteria and guidelines.
- Develop and implement performance KPIs and effective data collection tools to monitor equipment reliability.
- Revise and improve PM programs based on analysis and best practices.
- Assist in the execution and support of minor process or equipment improvements within the maintenance/reliability function.
