About The Position

New Area Opening Lifestar has received a new contract to provide 911 services to the Village of Marshall and it's surrounding areas beginning in January 2026. We will be adding one ambulance with a full crew to this new area. The new crew will run as an additional rotation to our Columbus location. All full-time employees in Columbus/Marshall will work two weeks in Columbus and one week in Marshall. We are currently seeking EMTs and AEMTs to help staff this new location. Who is Lifestar? Lifestar is a family owned, private ambulance company that was founded in 1995. Although we have expanded to service nine communities in Wisconsin, we strive to keep the small, family-owned atmosphere that defined our beginnings. One of the largest total 911 square mile coverage areas in the State of Wisconsin Lifestar responds to approximately 5,500 911 and 911-equivalent calls annually Lifestar operates at a Critical Care Paramedic Level We offer a multitude of paid in-house trainings and encourage our employees to grow and learn Our employees are respected and appreciated members of our family What is Lifestar hiring for? We are looking for full time EMTs and AEMTs for our Columbus/Marshall, WI location. Candidates must have a Wisconsin EMT-P or CCEMT-P license, a valid Wisconsin Driver License with clean driving record, and be 18 years of age or older. 48 hour rotations Insurances include: medical, dental, vision, life, short term disability, long term disability 401(k) after one year of employment Paid in-house training Unlimited overtime at your discretion. Requirements

  • Current Wisconsin EMT or AEMT license
  • Valid Driver's License with relatively clean driving record
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Exceptional customer service
  • The ability to communicate easily with patients, family members, nursing staff, and doctors
  • The drive to grow as a provider
  • Strong leadership skills with the desire to mentor other providers
