About The Position

The EMT Lead provides advanced life support in a prehospital setting and augments various hospital emergency department staff in the emergency care of the sick and injured. This role involves providing assessment and treatment to patients of all ages in a variety of environmentally uncontrolled settings. The EMT Lead also supervises other emergency personnel in providing patient care. Requirements

• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (CPR, BLS) - American Heart Association
• Defensive Driving Certification - Defensive Driving Certification Issuer
• Driver's License - Class D - Louisiana Office Of Motor Vehicles
• Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (EMT-Basic) - Louisiana Department Of Health
• National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians- Advanced (“EMT”) (NREMT – Advanced)

Nice To Haves

• 5 years of experience as a Registered EMT
• Driving emergency vehicles
