About The Position

An EMT Transport job involves assisting paramedics in providing and transporting patients between facilities, responding to calls, and documenting patient care. Key duties include monitoring patients, providing basic life support (BLS) according to protocols, and ensuring patient safety and comfort during transport. This role may also require functioning in a hospital emergency department as needed.

Requirements

A valid Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification is required
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
A valid drivers license is necessary.
Completion of an Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC) within 90 days of employment is often required.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
