Transport EMT provides Basic Life Support (BLS) patient care during interfacility transfers, assisting paramedics and other healthcare providers, and performing patient assessments, treatment, and documentation within their scope of practice. Key responsibilities include maintaining ambulance and equipment readiness, ensuring patient comfort and safety, providing thorough patient care documentation, and collaborating with other healthcare team members. HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is a 204-bed facility in Palm Beach County. We offer preventative and elective programs and surgeries. We are an Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Primary Stroke Center. HCA Florida Palms West Hospital has emergency services, a dedicated New Life Center and a Level II NICU. We have a full-service Children's Hospital. Services include outpatient rehabilitation, an aquatics center, orthopedic spine center, robotics, and interventional radiology. HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is located on a 94-acre campus in Palm Beach County. The surrounding areas include Wellington, Royal Palm Beach and Loxahatchee. Requirements

EMT Certification: A valid state-issued EMT certification.
BLS Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required, to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
Drivers License: A valid state drivers license with a clean driving record
Physical Stamina: The ability to lift and transport patients, sometimes in challenging conditions.
Communication Skills: Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and colleagues
Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate
