The EMS Clinical Division Chief oversees EMS clinical activities, ensuring high standards of patient care, and maintaining compliance with medical protocols. Develop and update clinical protocols in coordination with the EMS Medical Director Oversee the clinical credentialing process for EMS providers to ensure competency and adherence to established standards. Manage EMS education programs, including initial training, continuing education, and skills validation or EMS personnel. Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements related to EMS clinical operations. Assist in budgetary planning and forecasting for clinical education, credentialing, and skill validation initiatives. Research emerging trends in EMS clinical care and recommend changes to protocols, procedures, and training programs. Act in accordance with the established mission, vision, and values. Abide by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability privacy and security regulations regarding all aspects of Protected Health Information (PHI). Maintain effective communication and professional working relationships with patients/clients and their representatives, team members, contractors, physicians, peers, outside agencies, and the public.
