EMS/MRO Data Analyst

About The Position

The EMS / MRO Data Analyst will improve our organization’s energy productivity by planning, monitoring and reducing energy use across all operations, while ensuring that all efforts have a positive impact on the business’s bottom line. This includes evaluating our stores systems on a daily basis, analyzing data to ensure efficient and proper operations. The EMS Data Analyst / MRO’s influence is felt in a number of areas of an organization, including resource management, budgeting, operations, sustainability efforts, corporate responsibility, government or industry compliance, and energy efficiency.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in facilities maintenance or related experience
  • Proficient in database operation and data management
  • Excellent Microsoft Ekim xcel skills
  • Ability to build and run queries to collect and analyze data from sources, such as Siemens, Grid Point or Venstar EMS systems.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Energy Manager (CEM) credentials
  • 1-2 years customer service experience

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, interpret, and communicate data from the energy management system to reach conclusions and make recommendations.
  • Responds to perceived and/or actual operating problems raised by building occupants, independently analyzes and pursues actions required to resolve such problems.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of short and long-range utility management goals and objectives.
  • Performing vendor research and selection to enhance profitability, reduce operating costs and boost efficiency.
  • Building automation control strategies.
  • Analyze energy consumption histories on a daily basis to detect exceptions.
  • Diagnose, investigate and rectify detected exceptions.
  • Create Service Requests for issues that cannot be fixed remotely.
  • Managing purchase orders, overseeing shipping schedules and maintaining purchase records with standardization.
  • Understands how to prioritize responsibilities to ensure completion of duties and requires minimal supervision over performance thereof.
