About The Position

The EMR Software Analyst serves as a critical technical consultant, and a Tier 2 escalation point for the organization’s EMR system. In this role, you will oversee comprehensive issue tracking, manage finance and program configurations, and coordinate essential system upgrades. A key part of the position involves testing new developments and bug fixes while diligently reviewing software release notes to ensure system stability. Beyond technical maintenance, the Analyst is responsible for the foundational setup and security of the system, including staff profile management, form design, billing configurations, and the implementation of strict security protocols. As a leader within the EMR team, you will coordinate operational meetings, manage program-specific tasks, and spearhead training initiatives for both new hires and existing team members. This role is vital for ensuring staff are proficient in system workflows and that all EMR-related requests are handled efficiently. Please note that this position requires a high degree of flexibility; to support system updates and urgent technical needs, you will be expected to work outside of regular business hours, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Three (3) years of experience as an EMR System Administrator in technical support and development capacity may be substituted for the degree.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience specifically as a System Administrator for EMR software systems.
  • Proven background in helpdesk end-user support, with demonstrated proficiency in resolving complex technical issues.
  • Prior experience developing complex forms and maintaining/updating system configurations within an EMR or similar platform.
  • Completion of the myEvolv System Administrator Certification is required within one year of hire.
  • Three (3) years of direct experience as a System Administrator for the myEvolv EMR application will also satisfy this requirement

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience with Software Quality Assurance (QA) and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is highly desirable.
