About The Position

The Employment Specialist will perform personnel and support duties for the Director of Human Resources & Human Resources Operations. This position requires a high level of confidentiality and quality work. Assists in performing interviews and hiring applicants for level 1 – 5 positions. Performs clerical and personnel duties. All HR duties include Bavarian Inn Lodge, River Place, Cass River, and affiliated Gift Shop locations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Pursuit or completion of degree in Human Resources field and/or experience in Human Resources related position.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Neat Appearance and friendly disposition.
• Proficient with Windows based office software including the use of Excel.
• Continues to further education by seminars, books, and classes.
• Must be willing and able to assist with Banquet clearing for Mother's Day, Easter, and Thanksgiving.
• Ability to receive all required certifications for position.
• Ability to remember and use department verbiage for guest interactions.
• Must be willing to work weekdays, weekends, holidays , and sometimes evenings.
