Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; OR Associate's degree + 1 year relevant experience; OR High school diploma + 2 years related vocational or human services experience.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid NYS driver's license and ability to meet agency driving requirements.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and actively support individuals in various work environments.
  • Enthusiasm, reliability, and a genuine passion for helping others achieve independence through employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct job skills training and supervision in community and facility-based work settings.
  • Support individuals in developing positive work habits, social skills, and independence.
  • Build and maintain relationships with employers to create and sustain meaningful job opportunities.
  • Assist with vocational assessments, job site setup, and development of training materials.
  • Monitor and document individual progress, behaviors, and program outcomes.
  • Serve as a positive role model, encouraging professional and personal growth.
  • Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and reviews to support person-centered employment goals.
